Ever since returning from Coach Summit in Nashville, I have gotten fully back on the wagon. No cheating. No over doing it on carbs. I committed to doing Country Heat and following the meal plan. I decided to stick with more of a Whole30 based plan with only a few exceptions – coffee creamer, peanut butter and every now and then, bread.
Then the other night, Jordan asked for a cookie. I went in and grabbed him the Nilla wafers from the cabinet and he said, “No! The other cookies!” I didn’t know what he was talking about until he got up and walked to the freezer. I COMPLETELY forgot that there were a bunch of cookies that I froze from the Fourth of July in there.
Well, shit.
The next thing I knew, there was a cookie in my mouth.
Double shit.
Then I felt sick to my stomach. I knew better. I didn’t really want that cookie. I don’t even know why I ate it! This is why I can’t have nice things.
I knew I needed a plan. I needed something that would curb my cravings and still be healthy for me. A spoonful of almond butter wasn’t going to cut it. I had a taste and I knew they were in there. Then I remembered having these at my coach, Melanie’s house once, and I had just recently seen the recipe.
OMG. So freaking good and perfect to curb the after dinner sweet craving! Pop one and done!
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well. Roll into 1″ balls. Place on cookie sheet or plate and refrigerate for 2 hours. Enjoy!
