Ok, so seriously, I have struggled with hard-boiled eggs forever. I always end up peeling off half the white with the shells. I never knew how long to boil them. I’ve tried different techniques five million times. It was always a struggle.
So finally, I got it down. I peeled 6 eggs in like 3 minutes and they were all cooked the whole way through! Yes!!!!
Here’s the scoop…
- Put eggs in pot with cold water covering them by about 1/2″ to 1″.
- Place a lid on the pot.
- Bring to a boil.
- Turn OFF the flame and let the eggs stand in the water for 15 minutes.
- Drain the hot water and run cold water over them.
- Lightly crack the shells and peel under cold water.
Voila!!! Perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs!!
