Let’s Get Physical… And Mental

In the last couple of years, I’ve worked really hard to get my body into great physical shape. I’ve not only had one transformation, but I had a baby and did it again. It takes a lot of work and dedication to get into shape. It doesn’t come easy. I put many hours into meal planning and prepping and working out. There were a lot of times when I didn’t want to do it. Most days, I just pushed through and accepted it as part of my day. Then other days I would literally have to force myself to start.

I will say this – when you are working on the exterior, you HAVE to also work in the interior. You have to work on getting your mind right to be able to keep on track. You need to understand why you think the way you think and rid yourself of the negativity. You have to shut out negative thoughts and people and focus on the positivity surrounding you.

Every time I read an article about habits of successful people, I find personal development reading as one of the items on the list. These people continue to better themselves and make themselves smarter and more efficient. They also tend to workout and eat right, but you are already working on that! 

What areas do you feel you can improve on? Where do you think you have trouble? Is it motivation? Is it time management? Is it confidence? You are working on the physical. Why not make this a total body transformation – inside and out? I promise you there is a book out there to help you work on whatever it is you need help changing. 

So I am curious… What kinds of things would you like to learn more about? Where do you need a change? I’ll be happy to share some of my favorite reads in those areas of I’ve focused on them before!!
